I had a couple of interviews and then they gave me a written assignment to do user story mapping exercise for a particular scenario. I spent about an hour creating that and since I had done user story mapping multiple times before I was quite confident I had done well. After nearly an hour of painstaking work that is typically done in a group setting I submitted it at the desk and after that I heard nothing from them. It was quite shameful how they use people to get some work done for their company. I later did some research and I realised that the team lead who I might be reporting to had less experience than me and maybe this was their way of getting inputs from more experienced people to help support a less experienced lead.

Recruiter, then a so-called "screening" where they want you to come up with a REST API on the spot. If you can't type fast, you are not a good architect for them. Your experience does not matter; no one asked.

After applying, I quickly received automated requests: first, a 10-minute personality assessment, then two days later, a 20-minute video introduction. That's 30 minutes of my time invested in "screening" before even speaking with a human being. If a company can't spare 15 minutes for a direct conversation, I'm unwilling to spend 30 minutes jumping through automated hoops. At this point, I have been completely disengaged from the hiring process and won't bother proceeding with next steps.
