Apply online, phone screen, and in person interview including being shadowed. To be honest if you don’t have tons of work experience relating to the job your apply for of if you aren’t referred, then you probably won’t get in and if you do it’ll be in a position you won’t want to stay in. I’ve had 3 interviews in the last 2 months and I still haven’t gotten in. I had 5 phone interviews and only 3 in person interviews and I’ve submitted 66 applications and half of them don’t require any experience at all like housekeeping for example. Some recruiters will contact you for a phone screen and you won’t hear anything back at all. You can call the talent acquisition dept to check the status of your app but all they will do is transfer you to the recruiter for that position. It’s better to apply for CC because they are more likely to hire you without having experience or being referred.
