It's more about the marks you secure and the ranking would have been already done of the candidates based on it. It's a central university and hence they have protocols to follow as to how they would select candidates.

Most of the interviews at DU are for 10 minutes, where the basics and teaching skills are needed. Experience also asked. They ask questions from 2 prepared subjects. Sometimes aks to give a demo on particular 1 topic.
