There's an individual interview that you get question in advanced for. They're mostly trying to get a feel for how you are, and how you'd be in a position like this one. Resident Advisor is one of those roles where personality is very important. You don't actually have to be super outgoing (I'm pretty shy), but you do have to come off as friendly, responsible, and someone who would value the experience. There is also a group interview where you work with a group on a discussion based problem.
