I had to email a description of things I were capable of doing. I also discussed in the email my past work experiences, honors, etc. The next day, I was called for an interview. They asked your common interview questions. It was very easy. It was very laidback, yet professional.

They ask a few questions about your previous work experience. They ask questions about personality. They ask questions about what you would do if something happens. Then the boss emailed me when I could start working. Then I sent her my classes schedule and she had me working according to my classes schedule

I called Earnie Harrison, who is the head of the Technological Services Department, after seeing the post on the Student Employment section on Ole Miss' website. I had an interview two hours after that conversation. Once I went in, Earnie asked me if I was familiar with computer hardware and if I had a driver's license. Next question was when can you start.

I had such good credentials going in, that my interview was just when I could start. I was more nervous going into the interview than I needed to be and that was great!
