My initial communications were pleasant and detailed; however, they were rather vague about what the position entailed.
I was invited to campus with two other candidates. We were given university accomodation. We were brought into a room (together) and the position was described to us in more detail. That evening we had dinner with the faculty.
The next day each of us gave a 20-minute presentation. This was attended by the faculty. The other candidates were not present.
In the afternoon, each of us had a personal interview with the search committee. Questions were focussed on administrative experience. Research was important, but less emphasised than ability to develop programs.
