I applied online and received an invitation from their HR for a 45-min phone interview. The interview had some classic questions, asking about interests and experience, and some plain weird ones like 'What's your biggest failure?'. I was told that I'd hear from them by the end of the week either with next steps or with feedback. I didn't hear anything back for a week, and I emailed HR twice over the following two weeks to ask for feedback, and was completely ghosted, which seems to be the experience of other applicants as well. Extremely unprofessional and discouraging

I got told I would hear back within a week as they had another candidate to interview. A week passed so I emailed, no response. I emailed again a few days later. A few weeks on and I decided to give them a call - no answer, voicemail. Left a voicemail, no call back. I put my own time and effort in to prepare for the interview, including time off work. It's disappointing that the people in the process couldn't take the time to update, offer feedback or any form of communication to let me know the situation. Instead I am none the wise to what has happened or how I could improve. I feel let down and deflated. It's a shame they let their process end so rudely.
