I received a request for an interview very quickly after applying. I spoke with the Manager first. I was told there would be 3 interview total: a second with the CTO and a third with the team. After speaking with the Manager, he scheduled me a follow up with the CTO for the following week. All was going well and the CTO said she would get the Manager to set up my final interview. Then at the very end, she asked me if I had a spouse and/or children- which is illegal- but I was taken so off guard that I answered. I never heard back from anyone. They completely ghosted me. Also, the salary listed for the job was 20k less than the offer I did end up accepting at another employer for the same job.
