First step was a brief chat to hr person. Second and third interviews were with tech people. I was asked to answer some technical questions and implement a simple crud api. Nothing remotely challenging. Actually the interviews were suspiciously easy for a company who claims to have 'top 1% talent'. Shortly after I got an 'Welcome to the Upstack team!' email and accepted a job offer. But after that complete silence. Nobody contacted me for months. Eventually I received a couple of emails from upstack with open jobs I could apply for. Surprisingly enough none of these jobs fit my skills. One job required python, another was for scala developers. I haven't worked with python nor scala in my life and I don't intend to. So I'm not sure what to make of this company. So far they provided me with no jobs that fit my skills. So my advice is to not waste time with them, most likely they're not gonna give you any projects.

I applied for job and got email response within week or so, I was asked to chose slot and it was quite reasonable for me, I selected the evening slot and I came on time, HR came 5 mins late because of internet issue but she informed me after the 2 mins of wait, I passed that step, I was told that there are two more tests interview, kind of screen share coding, I was interviewed by Frontend developer first, it went really well, the guy was really nice and asked questions that can really judge me at front-end development after that HR sent me email of success and then came the second interview after week as chosen by me from time slots, I did code backend by configuring mail server and send email to user for account activation. I passed that step though the interviewer was bit lazy in responding back with results, he took few days but everything was pretty much reasonable as I was getting response that I will get result soon by HR and interviewer. I passed that as well and in couple of days signed the agreement. PROS 1.) You will get nice salary 2.) Proper remote job 3.) Nice staff Cons 1.) You would not be paid for non-project(when you are out of work and company is finding new project for you) time. 2.) No bonus, health insurance, on-boarding bonus, nothing other than salary.
