During the the phone screening the recruiter asked me if I was actively interviewing, I said yes and told her that I was in the early rounds for couple of companies and in the middle of the process for another company. She said she would schedule the next interviews accordingly. they scheduled the interview with the hiring manager for the next week. The interview with the hiring manager was very pleasant. She was professional and towards the end of the interview she said as the next step I would need to interview with the GM of the product (she shared the name of the GM as well), after that I would need to prepare a take home assignment and have a panel interview with her peers. She said the recruiter would reach out to me for the details after the interview. However, the recruiter never reached out so I sent her a follow up email a week after the interview with the hiring manager but didn't respond to my follow up email either. I'm not sure what happened after my interview with the hiring manager so that she changed their mind about moving me forward to the next step. The interview process was very professional until the very end but the way it ended was very unprofessional and almost rude.
