fun group interview, with approx. six other people. asked to bring along an item that best represents us to talk to the group about. very relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming hiring managers. two of us were offered roles with immediate starts (if wanted).

Applied online, heard back after a week. Wasn’t aware it was a group interview but read reviews that it might be. Was taken to a cramped back room with 4 others. First, they wanted us to introduce ourselves then took us to the shop floor to complete a fictional scenario, to look for items for 2 girls shopping for a present for their father. Asked us why we chose these items one by one as well as a few others. Honestly, I think they look for personality, whether you’re confident, loud and outspoken rather than your actual experience. Was an alright interview, just a bit unfair if you’re naturally quieter.

Face to face, first asked to introduce yourself, then your background and skills, and experience in retail industry. Really relaxed interview. Conversational. Received a call a few days later that I got the job.
