Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela UtilizeCore (New York, NY) em out. de 2024

I was contacted by a recruiter, and had 5 rounds of interviews, with 1 being online and the rest onsite. Each was 2-3 hours long. There was also a take home assessment on APIs that took a few hours. I was interviewed for background, behavioral, and technical qualifications, by COO, director of CS, integrations manager, and a fellow TAM. During one of the onsites, I was given another two rounds of technical assessments. The entire process took roughly 3 weeks. I received an offer shortly after the last round of interview.

The pros were that I liked the team. They seem hardworking, intelligent, and super passionate about the problem they are solving. They are also a small and scrappy team right now, so the role was impactful. However, I would not recommend interviewing with this company. The interview process is very long and just scheduling time with leadership took weeks and multiple emails. It took a month to complete the entire process, with hour-long case study sessions with multiple team members. They also insisted that the final rounds happen in person at their New York office during working hours, which meant I had to take a day off from my work to make it for this interview process. Worse than everything else is that they gave me strong feedback during the interview process and then, ghosted me for a month after the final round. I emailed the recruiter multiple times, and I could see them reading my email (mail track!), and they never bothered to respond. Finally, after a month, I received a generic email that they moved forward with another candidate when it was very obvious. This really left a bad impression, and I won't recommend any other candidate to take the time, effort, and patience to go through this process to risk ultimately getting this treatment.

I like the team as people -- they seem like motivated, hard working guys. They seemed candid and open to discussing their pain points and their desired growth trajectory. However, throughout the recruiting process they were disorganized and in the end disrespectful in not giving me the courtesy of a rejection email after meeting C-suite and other high level employees in office and over Zoom. - CEO reached out to me via email directly, set up 30 minutes with him over Zoom - Next day, met with the CEO, Director of Engineering, and Head of Product in their office in Midtown for an hour. The COO was supposed to be present for this round as well, but due to the quick scheduling was not available. This round was very open ended, questions both ways about product philosophy, role product fills in an organization, etc. This experience was somewhat hectic, with an employee coming into the room to look for his mouse, the CEO joining a different Zoom call near the end of the interview, and other employees popping into the office. - The CEO was eager to move forward on scheduling the final round -- same day or next day -- but the others wanted to stick to process (meeting with the COO) - I met with the COO over Zoom the next week for ~45 min, this was more in depth and included a loose product working prompt - I followed up after all interviews, including 1.5 weeks after my last correspondence with the team looking for an update -- never heard back
