Two senior PM's interviewed me in a very congenial style. They had clearly done their homework on me and expected me to have done the same on the job at hand. I enjoyed the hour I had with them and answered all the questions, such as what was the most difficult experience you had in your past jobs and what did you do that improved engineering results. I left believing I was going to come back to meet the engineering team leads, but a week and a half later I was told they went with another candidate and to please keep checking their job boards for another opportunity. That's fair enough, don't you think?

Multiple phone interviews with Director Level executives. There was an initial phone screen with the hiring manager. Then there were 6-7 executives that I talked with. After the first round of interviews, I felt very confident that I would get the position. The overall process took less than 3 weeks to complete (from initial contact to offer acceptance). The accelerated process was because the previous person in the role left the company and the position needed to be filled quickly.
