The very first interview was with Hiring Manager, I cleared that round, then I was asked my preferred day for assignment. I was sent a coding assignment using best automation framework guidelines and no inbuilt methods. I submitted it but then after never got an update from them. I kept waiting for a month and then my profile was No longer under consideration. Advice to VMware: I believe if a candidate is being contacted for an assignment, then please be humble enough to provide the feedback as well in mail instead of keeping him blank.

it is hard to say. overall is they will give you pressure and it was not respectful. told you to do a coding problem estimate to be 20 mins and give you only 5 mins for time constraint.
