The interview and hiring process at VMware was as condensed and efficient as one could hope for. They were respectful of my time and need to give notice and there was no long drawn out, multiple interview scenario. One brief phone interview and one in person interview, and an offer five days later after two follow ups from me.

I applied online and a recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone screen. Upon receiving great feedback and plans to move forward to next steps the recruiter went dark. I politely followed up via email asking for feedback but never heard back.

I did two interviews already, and they let me know that there were probably at a minimum two more interviews to go including one onsite. This seems like a LOT of interviews and with so many interviews just to get the job I am really worried about just how many layers of bureaucracy this place is going to have.
