These guys is very annoying in LinkedIn. Even if you saying that not interested you'll get this position again in one month. And again. And again. VMware recruiters, please, read the responses and don't contact person with the same position again and again. Please.

It was quite slow, had several interviews with them. I had two technical interviews, both had technical discussion and 2 tasks per interview. Managed to complete both and the interviews all went great, however they offered me 4-5k gross salary per month which is preposterous for their requirements and the seniority of the position. When the recruiter first contacted me we had a discussion regarding the range for the position and the recruiter lied to me as their offer was outside of the discussed range.

To be frank, the impression I got of VMware was a company with serious dysfunction, zero accountability, and a total lack of professionalism.
I had a 1st round phone screen with a recruiter based out of Australia who seemed pained to be there.
After the phone screen, I was asked to meet with a Staff Engineer based out of Atlanta for one hour. I took an hour out of my work day to show up to the zoom and after 5 minutes, nobody had shown up.
After 15 minutes, I emailed the recruiter. After 40 minutes and no response from the recruiter, I realized VMware has no regard for other peoples' time.
I ended up hearing back the next day from the recruiter and got some excuse and a request to reschedule. I provided more of my availability and then never heard back. What a waste.
