A friend of mine referred me. A few days later I got a call from their recruiter to discuss the position and company. This is just an introductory call, 20-25 minutes, to learn about each other and what not. It was a positive interaction on both sides. The next day, the recruiter called back and said they didn't want to proceed. WTF?
