I was really excited to interview with Vail but after this interview process, am very disappointed with the level of professionalism and mutual respect shown in the recruiting process.
I was scheduled with a recruiter, who never showed up for my first initial screening. I followed up instantly, didnt hear anything. I followed up a few days later and was informed that there was an "emergency" and was asked to find another time.
I scheduled a interview for the first available slot (a week later). The recruiter called 7 minutes after the scheduled time, and asked me many questions that were not 100% relevant for an initial phone screening. After learning why i wanted to work for vail and what my management style was, she said she would refer me to another recruiter for a second screening.
I followed up the next day and a week later, I have yet to receive any email correspondence since the last verbal note that "they would like to move fast" on this position.
I would understand if I am not the candidate they are looking for, but wish they wouldn't waste my time in the process and could communicate regularly and consistently.
