In-house recruiter reached out via email (almost two months after I had applied online for the position) to schedule a phone screen. She was very methodical and clear with her questions and instructions.
Since I had seen the job reposted since I had first applied, I thought I was not being considered. But she was very forthcoming with why their search was taking so long. Her explanation made me a little nervous about the company itself as it seems others have gotten to advanced stages and then for some reason things didn't work out.
The recruiter was very descriptive when providing next steps. She asked for writing samples, and once I submitted those, I received an email indicating my application was forwarded to the hiring manager. After another week, I received an email indicating the hiring manager had not selected me for an interview.
Seemed like an interesting position that would require a unique personality - someone that is willing to be a one-man communications team AND to deal with whatever personalities are on the senior leadership level.
I've seen the job reposted again ... and again ... since my interview, so it seems like they are seeking something that isn't in the job description.
