Standard process: HM Interview, Take Home Assessment, Review of Assessment if you pass, and then final panel interview. I unfortunately did not make it to the final round interview, but the assessment is extremely tedious - they said it should take 2-4 hours but in reality it takes 10 hours to finish if you want to pass. Furthermore, the review itself seemed like it went well, but the interviewer, a FDA II on the team, did not speak english well and asked half broken questions, which made it difficult to understand what he was saying. I had to ask for a repeat for multiple questions and this might have dinged me. The questions were fair however once I understood what he was saying. Also the recruiter/coordinator are both EXTREMELY slow at responding while you're in process, and once you're rejected they don't even bother responding. They provided zero feedback post-interview, despite knowing they both read emails -- you just get the standard rejection.

4 step interview. They are pretty fast paced but also fair with the fact you have a schedule and job. First was a simple intro to recruiter, second was a very easy SQL technical test (I won’t go into detail but it’s very easy, if you know SQL it’s probably better to not bother preparing you might throw yourself off). If you pass 2 you get a take home, it’s a fair assessment they request 2-4 hours and give you 2 days to complete. I kept it honest at 3.5 hours and I have to say they’re pretty awesome for being one of the few that actually give you a realistic timeline. If you could trust the dataset out right it’s 2 hours, if you over think it it’s 4. I finished it after work that night. Final round is an on site or virtual onsite for me since I don’t live in New York. Super standard interview. Only criticism from me is that virtual is awkwardly paced and there’s a lot of weight on their questions while during the process you don’t get a ton of time to really sell your experience, your kind of dependent on getting the questions right. That being said, as a guy who’s only interviewed at 3 places in 3 years I actually think their interview process was incredibly fair and well balanced, I honestly was just fried from my own work schedule and answered some easy lay ups terribly because I over prepared for all the wrong topics. My suggestion to anyone looking to join, they’re looking for a hard worker who can wear different hats. Don’t over think it or over prepare like I did, if you make it passed round 1 they really just want to see your live thought process and that you can follow some best practices. I didn’t get the offer which was a disappointment but to be honest I wouldn’t have hired me either, I’m grateful for their interview process because it gave me a reminder of how a good interview flows, conversationally. In the future don’t be like me and schedule an interview two days after your biggest project goes live. Give yourself some practice with the fast pace. Also the case study portion is super easy, don’t over prepare for random financial case studies like I did, it’s related to the take home. Don’t over think it. They offered feedback which I unfortunately had to bail on due to having to put out a fire at my current job during our scheduled call. But it’s pretty admirable that they offer that, most companies will not schedule time with turned-down candidates so they get classy points in my book.
