O processo levou 3 dias. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Vanguard Events (Raleigh, NC).

I applied on Linkedin, the HR recruiter contacted me very quickly for a face to face interview in the office. Once I got to the office, which was a bit old and run down, I waited for 20 minutes before my interview! If I have an interview at 3:00pm I expect it to be at 3:00pm. I can see waiting a few minutes, but 20 minutes is unacceptable. When the candidate before me was finished I started my interview. After abut 20 minutes it was over, and I was invited to come back for a second round interview. The second round interview would be me watching some kind of presentation, which they did not thoroughly explain well. So anyway, I was expecting to come back for the second round interview the following, but the HR recruiter left a voicemail saying I have to reschedule. So I called back twice, nothing in return. Then I emailed her, then she said they had chosen someone for the position Monday so they are not doing any more interviews. Like, what kinda crap is that? I feel like it was a waste of my time, very unprofessional.

This company has so much to offer its employees as far as their potential professional career is concerned! My interview process was very professional. I did not have to interview in a group setting, but yes there is a waiting area with other people waiting to be interviewed, which is typical. My interview process was clear and all was laid out before me that I would be doing and all that I could accomplish. I enjoyed my interactions with CEO, Meg, she was honest and upfront about what Vanguard does and could offer me for a career. I did accept a position here and have enjoyed growing and learning with this company.

After submitting a resume via LinkedIn, I got a call from the HR Assistant. Typically, these screening calls are scheduled in advance, so this was a red flag. After passing the phone interview, I was invited to come in for an in-person interview with the HR Manager. After reading through the reviews on this site, I discovered more red flags. It quickly became apparent, that this was not in fact an interview for a promotions assistant/events coordinator, rather, it was an interview for a minimum wage 7-10 days/week sales job at Sam's Club. I opted to cancel the interview since the description was misleading.
