I applied for a Senior Google Ads Performance Marketer role, but the interview focused solely on programmatic advertising specialist without prior notification.
The interviewer prioritized gathering information about my current company's strategies, optimizations, and budget over discussing my own experience and portfolio. When I transparently explained our cost-per-lead (CPL) and the factors contributing to its fluctuation, the interviewer abruptly compared it to their own lower CPL, dismissing my explanation.
Furthermore, I attempted to demonstrating my interest in the company through research and offering constructive feedback on their traffic strategy, the interviewer dismissed my input.
This experience felt insincere and misleading

Zoom Interview Interview was rescheduled once as the hiring manager was busy. The supposed interviewer was engaged on another call and will only did a bit of introduction and mention will join in the interview later. The interview was conducted by another person who came in unprepared. Was spending 5 minute of the time reading my resume while I am in the video call. Asked unnecessary question about my age and mentioned that I don't look like your age etc.

First got interviewed by the recruitment agency on the phone and then had an interview with the manager. The second interview was at the office with the contact centre manager. After I quickly spoke with the Hr manager.
