They bring you in for an interview and take you out into the fields. You spend the entire day going door to door trying to convince people to buy Verizon cable packages

I saw a posting on indeed for smgi (which had great glassdoor reviews) and sent in my resume. The next day I get an email saying I was a qualified candidate and to call and set up an interview time with smgi. My call went unanswered and the HR manager called me the next day to confirm the interview with the hiring manager.
After arriving a half hour early for the interview I started looking for more info on the company on my phone and the red flags were everywhere. After looking up the address I see that Varipoint is listed as the tenant and not smgi. Varipoint has lots more negative feedback than smgi but I already drove over there so I figure it can't hurt to go to the interview. In the office I filled in a brief sign in with a few questions and see there are already other people waiting for interviews which I see as another red flag. The other applicants were kind of skeptical as well. When it was my turn I saw that the person emailing me as the HR manager was also the hiring manager, another red flag. I asked her why the office said varipoint while all emails were smgi. She said they were dissolving varipoint to become smgi and were negotiating with the office building to get the signs changed. After saying nothing of substance for 10-15 mins she asked my schedule for the following week for a follow up interview. The interview was conveniently scheduled from 2-7 PM, when I asked why it was so long she would not give details other than you would be with an experienced team member. I've since learned that the second interview is watching someone go door to door and peddle their product. You are supposed to ask your questions on the second interview. They didn't even bother to change from the standard MLM interview process.
If you are looking for a real job don't apply here. They look for the young and those desperate for a job, like me.

None, it was mostly the hiring manager throwing out annoying buzz words and being vague. My questions went unanswered.
