Really loved the GM but felt the interview process was a bit jumbled. They rescheduled me with the ceo a few times and I just had a gut feeling this role wasn’t for me.

Perfectly acceptable during actual interviews. They ask and answer all the usual questions and are polite and friendly. They set you a task of creating a made-up project, which takes up at least a few days full-time work to complete (they do mention that there will be a task before the first face-to-face interview, but not that you'll have to go away and then come back and present it). Including a phone conversation, it is a three stage interview process.
However, between interviews they almost never got back to me when they said they would. I had to re-connect with them each time to receive an update (this happened about 4x), including almost a week after the final interview to find out that I didn't have the job. This would be annoying behaviour with any potential employer, but was especially so with them as their task was so time and effort consuming (an entire weekend spent researching and putting together a 16 page proposal and accompanying PPT). I really couldn't tell whether they were just very disorganised or just had utter disregard for my time and efforts.
My advice: be sure to be looking for other jobs whilst applying here and don't take them at their word - if they say they'll "get back to you on Wednesday" for example, what they actually mean is: you should start chasing them for an answer on Thursday, and they'll reply properly to that the following Tuesday.

Describe a situation where you've had to manage people/correct for a mistake made by the company with the client (something along these lines)
Thanks for your feedback. We understand that the task set is a challenging one. Some candidates do find it taxing however it’s not out of line with similar roles at other agencies. The role involved an understanding of the Chinese digital landscape and an ability to research and present findings to an audience unfamiliar with the Chinese market. We want to ensure that the successful candidate has the adequate skillset to be successful in this role. We are constantly impressed with the calibre of applications we receive and certainly appreciate the time and effort that goes into this work.
Regarding the length of time between interview phases, as we interview multiple candidates for each role we can’t always respond as quickly as candidates want. Especially considering in this case we had candidates coming from out of town who need time to book transport. We believe that rushing through the process would unfairly disadvantage candidates from outside of London or who simply had later initial interviews booked.
We do our best to accommodate requests when it comes to timelines for the hiring process. We feel that a response to candidates within a week of their interview is a fair timeline, considering there were other candidates to also give fair time to present their work.
