You can tell how much of a disaster a company is just by their hiring process. It took an entire month to even get to the first official interview. By that point, I was no longer interested in continuing on with process. I had a lot of questions that the person I initially spoke with as a phone screen was not able answer nor should they have to. I expected to speak with the person I would be reporting to for the intel I needed. Every time I checked in, there was a lame excuse as to why they were not able to officially begin the interview process. It became increasingly obvious they didn't value this role, their time, or my time. I refused to subject myself the blatant and unpologetic disrespect when they're most likely going to ghost me anyway. Believe these companies when they show you who they are. If their hiring is a nightmare, so it will be working there.
