I have had one phone screen and am about to have another. I am in the middle of the process and can't fully appraise it yet. The person who called has been professional and sincere.

Look at what is in front of you and let's role play and try to sell it to me.
not difficult. it went smoothly. long hiring process but recruiters often respond quickly. got interview the next week. but it took some time to hear back from them. however, it's not very hefty
Talked about myself, experience and goals. Then they had me and the two people interviewing me run through a mock sale, take coaching, then had us run through a sale again.
The whole Verizon process felt like wandering a maze that kept adding new hallways. It took multiple applications and assessments just to reach a recruiter, and once I finally did, the communication went quiet. Four weeks just to get to that point, and then no follow-up at all. For a role that sounded urgent, the month-and-a-half timeline made the experience feel slow, disorganized, and ultimately unproductive.
