I had the unfortunate experience of attending a job interview that left me not only disheartened but also very disturbed by the blatant presence of sexism in leadership. I never had the opportunity to showcase nor even discuss any of my technical skills, yet a particular male figure in leadership had unwarranted assumptions about my capabilities or "lack there of" clearly based on gender bias alone. It was apparent that I was excluded from consideration due to my appearance and just one individual's authority and unwarranted opinion influenced the final decision making process. I had never felt so disrespected in an interview process in my entire life and I will always unfortunately remember this interview. What goes around comes around and I really hope this company changes its ways.

* Person I was supposed to meet with was late by 15 minutes. * Same job ad stays open for months with thousands of applicants, so the company is either broke or conducting hiring studies.
