Phone interview, in-person interview, submittal of work samples. The in-person interview experience was humiliating - for example: the Director rolled her eyes at me and was visibly annoyed when I had trouble with some of the lengthy-worded questions. I'm neurodivergent and asked if I could read the question, and the interviewer was visibly disgusted with my request - even though she, herself, had to read the question. I consider it a win that I don't work for people who snicker and roll their eyes at hopeful job candidates.
