It's for a remote role, so all interviews were done over video calls. One with the team lead and one with the CEO. There was also an assignment portion of the interview process which was fairly rigorous, although the instructions were very clear. It's clear that they value transparency and communication, and that reflected on the entire hiring process. There was a lot of conversation to ensure that it was the right fit on both sides and they were happy to address any concerns or questions that I had. They hire thoughtfully and carefully to make sure that they're hiring the right person in terms of technical competency, but also cultural fit. The CEO also involved other team members in making the final decision, as they are a small team, and I appreciated the democratic approach to it.
