I had a very encouraging interview with the HR contact. Felt that I would be offered an interview with hiring manager. In the end there was no courtesy email. When I sent an email about 3 weeks later I was told that the hiring manager felt my experience was not what they were looking for. I can honestly say my CV and experience matched the Job Desc almost word for word. So either the reason was just a standard excuse, or they had already filled this with an internal person and could not be honest. I only want honesty from an HR feedback, don’t brush me off with obvious cliche answers
