Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Boston, MA) em jan. de 2022
Entrevista
All-day process and fairly standard overall:
45-minute seminar with questions during and after running a little over an hour total (9:00-10:00 AM)
After that, it was 6 total one-on-one interviews with 4 people from my field and 2 from other fields, each ran around 30 minutes.
Everyone was extremely friendly and interested in me and my research and it was a very positive experience overall.

The description of the position was not specific enough. They clearly were looking for a specific branch of knowledge that was not even mentioned in the position listing. Waste of time.

This is one of the worse interviews I have had. The HR is a nice person. But the interviewer was not patient. She spoke very fast, not telling me what skills she is looking at, and asked me to introduce myself. She seems not interested in me even after my greetings lol. She come up with questions about my Ph.D. projects and did not let me finish my sentence. She was like "I did this before, I think what you did for your Ph.D. is wrong" I do not think she really understands what I am talking about. she definitely has more experience but I feel she did not respect my Ph.D. work at all. And then she said she had a meeting in 5 mins. I am not sure if she is in bias about my background. I think it is a waste of my time and try to think it is a problem who interviews me. It took me a couple of weeks to rebuild my confidence. I still feel said a person who is successful in her career is rude to young people who just starting their careers. I am hoping to write others who had a similar experiences as me to let them know it is not their faults,
