I went through three rounds of interviews for the Assistant Project Manager role at Verz Design. The conversations themselves were positive — the interviewers were friendly, asked thoughtful questions, and gave me the impression that the company valued professionalism and cultural fit. However, despite being assured multiple times that I would receive an update on the status of my application, I never heard back after the final round. I invested considerable time and effort preparing for and attending all three interviews, only to be left without any communication or closure. I completely understand that not every candidate can be selected, and I fully respect a company’s decision if I am not the right fit. But the lack of a simple update — even a rejection — is disappointing and reflects poorly on the hiring process. Candidates deserve at least basic communication, especially after investing time across multiple interview rounds.
