My interview experience with Vestas as a Lead Engineer was a mixed bag. The technical discussions were exceptional, and I felt invigorated by the challenging questions that truly assessed my expertise in renewable energy solutions. The interactions with the technical team were engaging and left me with a strong impression of the company's commitment to innovation. However, the HR interviews, unfortunately, left much to be desired. They were disorganized, lacking in clear communication, and seemed disconnected from the rest of the process. Despite my strong performance in the technical rounds, the HR aspect of the interview process was unexpectedly troublesome. Regrettably, after the lengthy evaluation, Vestas finally got back to me with the surprising news that they had to halt the project, leaving me both perplexed and disappointed. This experience serves as a reminder that even in a great technical interview, the overall process can be marred by HR-related issues.
