My interview experience with this company was quite brief, lasting only about 3 minutes. Unfortunately, the recruiter did not provide any introduction about themselves, their role, or the company. The conversation began with a question about where I had discovered the job posting, followed by my location. I promptly informed them that I was based in Germany, which had been clearly indicated in my CV, Cover Letter, and initial application. To my surprise, the recruiter then mentioned that they were specifically looking for someone located in Belgium. In such situations, it would be greatly beneficial for all parties involved if the interviewers take the time to thoroughly review the information provided in the documents submitted by the candidates prior to scheduling an interview. Not only does this save valuable time and effort for both the candidate and the company, but it also ensures a more efficient and meaningful interview process. If the sole purpose of the initial conversation is to clarify the candidate's location, such queries can easily be addressed via email, further streamlining the recruitment process.
