Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 6 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Viasat (Gilbert, AZ) em ago. de 2011
Entrevista
Pretty difficult; it can take all day with multiple interviews and/or multiple people in each interview. Candidates should expect around 4 interviews, and some of those may be conference calls with people at remote locations. My interviews mainly focused on my experience from my resume as well as going over some what-if scenarios. They also grilled me on Earned Value.

Pergunta 1
I had a written test on calculating Earned Value numbers (CPI, SPI) using a hypothetical project status.
They grilled me on the proposal process to determine exactly how much experience I had with it. They also went over my resume with a fine-toothed comb and wanted to know specifics on some of the items.
Hiring manager asked general behavioral questions about cost forecasting, experience with large and small scale programs and projects. The role was not technical but he asked very technical questions. When I did not get the role it was because they were looking for someone technical despite the job description not including anything technical required.

Can you tell me, in detail, how you would troubleshoot the technology your delivery team deployed to the customer?
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Viasat (Carlsbad, CA).
Entrevista
Contacted by recruiter, had a phone screen, then a week later had a phone call with hiring manager. Nice conversations, pleasant process up to this point.
After this, complete silence, as many others have experienced. I followed up a few times, but no responses. No big deal if I don’t get the role, but would have been nice to at least get an automated “Thanks but no thanks” email

Very straightforward questions about background, fit for role, interest in role. No real “behavioral” questions
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Viasat (Carlsbad, CA) em out. de 2019
Entrevista
I had an HR phone screening, a phone interview with one of the managers, and then a 4-hour onsite with several team members, the hiring manager, and the head of the department.
ViaSat has the most efficient and welcoming candidate experience I've ever had. While I was disappointed I didn't get an offer, I have to acknowledge how well I was treated. Their Carlsbad location is beautiful, and has a candidate lounge, where I was greeted with a goodie bag. The interviewers were all very pleasant and prepared, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
