The interview went through several people and numerous tests, both practical and on paper. It lasted EIGHT hours. At the end, the owner interviewed me and through the whole process, he wouldn't even make eye contact with me nor shake my hand.

The interview was very thorough, which is appreciated. Starts out like anywhere else with an overview, paperwork, some computer testing, then I was taken to lunch for the rest of the interview. The questions were standard and nothing out of the ordinary. I did have the pleasure of interviewing with the original owner and founder of the company, who is obviously very knowledgeable; he is an Electrical Engineer. I found the lunch to a nice touch, most companies won't waste time like that & that fact that the owner took time out of his day was very impressive too. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and grow in the purchasing word here as they do a lot of international purchasing. I was offered the position, unfortunately had to decline due my wife's Residency requirements. Best of luck to future candidates!

Entrevista
Super long, 5hrs & 45mins which included computer skills, one on ones with various people, lunch at a restaurant, and the last thing was to speak with the owner. Now, I think the interview with the owner should’ve come much earlier in the day because had I met him in the beginning of the day I never would not have continued on with the interview. He was very odd and wouldn’t make any eye contact with me, he asked me questions about his process that I would not have been able to answer unless I was already following that process, in addition he claimed that cell phones cannot be used in the facility however you could easily walk through all areas of the production plant and warehouse without seeing a sign that says anything about frequency interference. I did a little more research on Video Products Inc. after I had done this interview and I wish I had done that before because the employee reviews that I was able to find did state that the owner was unusual, controlling, and gave off the perception that everyone owed him something since he was employing them. My advice would be to anyone looking into this company as a potential employer is to absolutely not get involved. You know a bad company when you see it and this is a real bad company.
Sidenote, they still can’t fill that position and it is very clear why.
