Given an interview for the position of Wordpress/PHP Framework Developer. First, they convey every candidate same day finalization & 2 rounds, but they have taken whole day 10 AM to 5 PM but not finalized till the EOD & told me to come tomorrow. I had given the interview for Wordpress & PHP preliminary. 1 written test, questions in the paper are good, have completed before time and almost 90% corrected. 10% not sure in java script. In technical round: Person (TL or Manager) taken interview asked some stupid questions which you cannot expect from a 5+ year experience person and 8+ year interviewer. He said : a) We are working on Woocommerce, image popup is not showing and not error at browser console, how can we fix it. b) How can we sort the WordPress posts by last alphabet in title. we are stuck in these from last couple of days, do you have any idea how to fix these, (I just want to say are you nuts sorting is only a max. one hour job, how can you invest two days in it. second image popup is taken half of day fixing as WooCommerce have provided good ways to troubleshoot in its own dimension.) But i told him, i can assist you but will not fix it now. Why i fix it in interview process, so he just got angry. On HR round (third round) HR told we want to hire you in Angular Js time. I asked why, i am here for the position of different technology now you are telling me different thing. She said just give the JS test if the different then our exception we will taken you in team you applied for, I said "okay". Next day (I cancelled another interview due to them) i came here given the JS test, it is bad as i am not prepared for Angular JS, not my primary technology. So just average paper result. At final round some guy taken the interview again, for which he didn't confirm and the questions are not sort of usual questions. Later after waste of 5 Hours, HR told me to leave for the day. I have checked the others review on Glassdoor, thus not felt surprised in result, they have priority which have references like (bribe in Govt. Agency). Having daily interview is a job for HR persons, not for candidates, They don't pre-defined protocols, not having professional manners how to talk, behaving like child, shouting, screaming and quarreler with the candidates who have cross questioned them. Bottom-line organisation is average, having few good bad peoples, having good clients. If you get a chance work for an year of couple. I prefer to this organization because it is one of the good organisation near by to my home, rest have other offers in hand. Not selected thus join other Public Ltd listed company which is good in all the factor, except distance to office (25 KM) for me. I got a call from HR at one fine evening. She told me about the company and asked my roles and responsibility. After 15 days, interview was scheduled. All went well but HR told that they were expecting more. It was pure technical Round.
