A simple phone call from a recruiter that told hours and pay - that's it. Mentioned it would be mostly phone calls and my availability would need to be evening and weekends. Hours would be based on needs of the company.

There was no interview process. They call you and ask you to come in for an interview, which turns out to be orientation. Then ask for availability and you start working sometimes that night if they are desperate enough.
