10 days after applying for the job on Heineken website, I got a call from a recruiter with a spontaneous mini interview. The recruiter asked me why I would like to work for Vrumona and what attracted me in the position. He asked about my (salary) and other expectations. The recruiter was extremely friendly, the call was informal, and he said that the company was enthusiastic about my profile.
A few days later I got invited for a face-to-face interview in Bunnik. The interview was with Account Manager and Team Lead. The vibe in the company was great - it was informal, open and easy-going. The interview was 1 hour and it was extensive - it seems that the interviewers got to know every aspect of my (professional) life. Even though so many points were discussed, the questions and answers were flowing naturally and without any tension.
Generally it was an extremely positive experience. During and after the interview I could feel that this is a great company to work for and that I would love to work with these people.
3 days after the interview I got a call from a recruiter saying that for the interviewers our meeting was also a pleasant one and that they consider me as a highly competent candidate, however, that my level exceeds what is required for the advertised position, hence, the job at this level might be boring for me. They would gladly offer me something more challenging if there was a position to open up.
Even though I did not get through the interview, it was still an extremely professional, positive and valuable experience.
I would recommend applying for Vrumona, because the whole recruitment process was very professional, the communication with HR was timely, effective and pleasant, the people are easygoing and nice, the company culture appears to have lots of opportunities for growth and self-development. Moreover, there are growth opportunities not only within Vrumona, but also in the wider Heineken group.
