Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa WEBB Traders.
Entrevista
The application procedure started from the initial interview, followed by coding assignment. Coding assignment is later reviewed with the WEBB Traders developers. After the rejection and follow-up email from my side total ghosting.

They sent me a not very interesting but quite complicated assignment on the CodeSignal. The platform worked bad, lost my a lot of my changes at one moment, and almost never compiled, but not because of my code. So I spent some time setting up environment locally, where everything compiled and I could run open tests. In the end I finished after the deadline, but sent the code in the email, describing the situation. I didn't receive any reply directly to my email, but received a rejection. I asked about my email, and turned out that they did consider my new code, but it didn't pass all the hidden tests (that I couldn't run myself, because the platform didn't work properly). So, about 6 hours lost writing a code, not to get even an interview

This was my second rodeo with Webb Traders, the first time around (2 years ago) was a bit of a disaster movie: late interviewer, some radio silence in communication, and an early-stage rejection. But second chances exist for a reason, and they redeem themselves. Webb Traders has clearly done some soul-searching since my first encounter. New faces, fresh culture, and thankfully, punctual interviewers. The process felt refreshingly pragmatic - none of the ego-driven "rising bar" theatrics some trading firms love,
and blissfully free of the usual LeetCode circus that makes you question your career choices. They use CodeSignal for the technical assessment, which actually resembles real work (imagine that!). If you're a LeetCode warrior, this might throw you off your game, but if you've been grinding in Fintech/Trading for years, it'll feel like coming home. The on-site interview is where things get serious, brush up on low latency distributed systems design. The Amsterdam office has that cozy vibe, people are friendly, HR responds promptly, and the whole process treats you like an actual human being. I ended up with multiple offers and chose a different path due to tech stack preferences, but Webb Traders definitely earned my respect. They've successfully evolved from "never again" to "actually quite decent".
