The hiring manager (District Manager) reached out via LinkedIn to schedule a phone screen. After that, we scheduled an in-person interview at one of the local restaurants. I was then invited to the "In Unit" step, where you work two consecutive days, in uniform at one of the restaurants. This included a 9-hour shift, returned late night for an hour to see the night operations, then a second 8-hour shift. This 2-day process was all hands-on. I was given a uniform that included a polo shirt, hat and name badge. I had to purchase shoes, slacks, t-shirts, and a new belt for these shifts to match the expected dress code. During the In Unit time, I cooked a lot of bacon and other meats, bussed tables, helped with inventory, collected and took out trash, shadowed servers, helped customers, and even picked up trash around the parking lot. I was told I would be paid for this time and they had me complete a W-9 form. When the In Unit was complete, I was told that they were looking at a few candidates and would follow up with me in a few weeks. That was the last time I ever heard from them, and I was never compensated for my time at In Unit as promised. I've reached out to both the hiring manager (District Manager) and the HR Director and have been ghosted.

Very informative and transparent. I was asked STAR interview questions and all of my questions were also answered. One phone interview, two in person, and then in unit trial run for two days. Overall a great experience.
