applies with the state of NC had my application sent to Wake County, searched jobs and applied on Wake County website, then contacted principals to let them know I applied and was interested. WCPSS does not have an HR dept that will match you with schools . It is important that you contact principals on your own to show interest.

Got a phone call from the Principal and came in and met with her and 4 of the Kindergarten teachers, It was panel style where they each took turns asking me question. Lasted maybe 25-30 minutes and got a call a week later.

Interviewed with a entire Panel in conference room lasted about 2 hours answered questions talked about myself and my future goals. Each person in the room talked about them self also lead supervisor explained the position .

I was asked the usual questions about my experience, what I thought I could bring to the team, etc. Then they told me about the duties I would have in the classroom and a little bit about the teacher and other assistants. Then I was given the opportunity to ask questions.
