Applied online and was put in touch with a recruiter at their Barcelona location. Communication was slow and I was told that I didn't meet their qualifications (even though the school which I received my TEFL certification recommend this place as many alumni have gained employment here). But then I was asked if I would be interested in teaching in China or some random country? What? Do different locations have different standards? So I replied and said I was interested, just to see what would happen. Then again slow communication and eventually I heard back from the specific location/franchise. I interviewed and found it to be a little more difficult than your standard interview. It was with one person and she was mainly interested in my teaching experience, of which I had little. I kept being hit with curve ball questions that I struggled to answer as I imagine I was not the kind of candidate they wanted (at times she would look at me like I was a total dunce). But I went ahead and did the second interview which is to design a lesson plan (for me it was about the present perfect continuous) and review it with the interviewer. That was better, but wasn't great. Never heard back from them after that even after trying to get back in contact. Oh well.

I did an interview online on zoom, it was short and informal just a chat about experience, the schools methodology and the position available. Very friendly and nice but they said they only offer 5 hour contracts

It was a casual and comfortable interview. Where we both got to ask questions about the role. It was very informative. Interviewer was clear in what he was looking for

Long interview process. It was hard to understand whether I was moving along with the process or not. I reached the interview process up until the demo class and still was not certain I got the job or not. A lot of time and money spent going to the school and in the end I did not get the job.
