a take home assignment, a call with one of their reps, a call with their architect and a final call with CEO. In my opinion they could have cut some steps but I understand them.. I mean it's hard to know a coder just by having a quick chat so I understand. The tests/coding challenges were fun and pretty challenging at the same time so definitely a good time spent even if I wouldn't have gotten an offer.

The interview question was same as log parser..completed and submitted it then got a call to schedule next round, after looking at the horrendous experiences thought of stepping aside from interview process and accepted other oppurtunity. Working passionately for me doesnt mean working longer hours every day.

The first part of the interview was to write an app that would read log files into a database. I was given about 2 weeks to finish it. The second part of the interview was two live Java coding questions. The catch is that they don't allow the use of any internet resources, which is idiotic for a language as large as Java. The interviewer I had also seemed to be reading off of a script, poorly explained the challenge, and gave zero feedback on anything. This was very frustrating after having previously invested a decent chunk of time into the app.
