Entrevista
I was reached by company recruiter through Linkedin. She wanted to schedule an interview with the warranty manager, herself and I. The recruiter runs the whole interview which is scripted, warranty manager was listening and added a few comments here and there. I ultimately had to interview the manager asking multiple questions since they weren't brought up and she barely spoke. I kept being told my experience was exactly what they needed for a new dealership they just signed on. They kept repeating how much value I would bring to the company since not even the manager knew how to do warranty for the brand I have experience with. Everything seemed fantastic and they asked how soon I could start. I mentioned needing 2 weeks for my current great employer, they understood but seemed a bit bummed. in the beginning they had mentioned the urgent warranty hiring, adding already 6 people that month and on-going. The position felt certain and a few days later shockingly ended up getting a rejection email.
I messaged the recruiter for constructive feedback about the interview but didn't receive a response. Sounded like a good opportunity which I was excited about, but the volume of hiring is worrisome. The interview process ultimately seemed dry and just another one on their list. I believe they prioritize hiring whoever can start as soon as possible.
