After the online questions, I had a video interview with someone from finance team. I firstly did a SQL coding test, and he asked me if gross profit dropped yesterday, what happened. I tried to answer from multiple aspects, the answer was so detailed that if you are not doing that interviewer’s own job, you have no way to come up with that answer. If you need someone so experienced, there shouldn’t even be this interview. The whole thing makes me feel I was wasting my time preparing for this.

I applied online and was contacted by the recruiter within a few weeks. Made it to the second round but was dropped due to lack of knowledge on business case question.
