I had four interviews with this company, not including a take home test, and was made an offer. During that offer phone call, I asked if there was any upward flexibility on pay (I asked for 23/hr instead of 22/hr) and they said they’d get back to me later in the day. They got back to me a few hours later saying I didn’t have “enough passion” for the brand and reneged the offer. Any company that tries to gaslight you when you ask for what you are worth as an employee is not a good company to work for.
