The interview process was positive. It consisted of 2 rounds of interviews and the Director of Product was kind, informative, and conversational. They asked a series of questions and seemed interested in my background. The overall experience was great.

Applied after I found them on linkedin and was pretty interested in their culture from an outsider view. They called the very next day mid day and I could not talk because I had work but we set something up for the next day. I honestly thought it would be more of a phone screening at first because that's how this process usually goes but instead it was more of an interview. I thought I did a pretty good job all things considered for a Friday afternoon with little notice, but I received a notification first thing Monday morning that they were not proceeding with me. I did ask for feedback just for my own development as to why they decided not to move forward but never received a response which is a bummer. Smaller companies are usually the ones who are more willing and able to do that. Another thing I would recommend, make it more of a conversation rather then generic interview questions. I was asked 3 questions and was not asked if I had any questions myself. As someone who has interviewed many people, making sure to set aside time for their questions is important. I did end up asking a question or two but that was after she started trying to finish up the call.
