I had an initial interview with an HR recruiter. The interviewer reviewed my resume with me, asked me some brief questions and we had a conversation about the position. I thought the conversation went really well. The recruiter indicated she was going to recommend that I move forward with the next step. She even said I would hear back from the end of the week or beginning of the following week at the latest. She even mentioned the type of email to be on the lookout for. Of course, what happened? I heard absolutely nothing more from the recruiter despite me following up by phone and email. The recruiters at these places don't know their as*ses from their elbows. There is such a disconnect between departments. No wonder Wells Fargo is repeatedly fined by the government.
