I applied and was contacted rather quickly for a phone interview with the recruiter. The recruiter had been there over 20 years and managed the team of recruiters. I was told at the end of the interview that the recruiter felt that I was a good fit and was planning to bring me in for an in person interview with the VP's- I never heard anything back again. While I understand that things happen between the end of a good interview and hiring the final candidate, I was very surprised that such a great company did not "loop back" with me, even via email to let me know what they went with another candidate or that I was no longer in the running. As a former recruiter myself, I was always very conscious to get back to anyone who took the time to interview with me.
